Default TPMS & wheel size questions

Hello forum,

I am trying to narrow down the wheel choices, but in order to do that I have some questions:

2008 SE-R wheels: are they compatible with the TPMS?

NISMO Maxima wheels: with the Eibach Pro-kit and a full load (5 people plus luggage) will the wheels/tires sag enough to hit the fenders in the rear?

With the Eibach Pro-kit, which set of the above wheels will be better for everyday drivability (aesthetics aside, purely from a driving dynamic standpoint).

Thanks in advance,
Steve

i don't know for sure....but i saw a 3.5 SE sedan on the highway yesterday with 5 people, and i assume luggage in the trunk and the back was sagging real bad with the stock suspension, the wheels were bowed out pretty bad. i've never had more than just 4 people in my car, and the back hung a little, but no rub. also the TPMS will work on any wheels you put the sensors on

Thanks for the quick reply.

The only reason I say 5 people with luggage is using the most 'extreme' example, so that on that rare occasion that it happens, I won't damage my car/wheels.

Your wheels are 8.5 wide; do you know your offset? They look great.

Thanks,
Steve

they are 42 mm offset, i have the stock 16's back on now, they they actually rub if i have the steering wheel at full lock backing out of the driveway, but not on the fenders, and the 19's never rubbed in any situation that i noticed

Thanks for the info; this definitely helps making the choice easier!

The rubbing I take it was on the front at full lock?

I had this same 'problem' with my Golf with H&R cup kit - it would rub on the fender liner, but not on the fender itself. It didn't rub unless it was a serious bump, during full lock, or both simultaneously.

exactly, it rubs on the liner at full lock, the tires are also taller bigger in overall diameter on my stock wheels, the 19's with the 35 profile tires are just slightly less in total diameter.
