I was interested in purchasing a set of Konig evolutions i believe they are off of a friend of mine but she isnt looking to sell them till august. I dont want to put them on and have to take them right off. So i was wondering if i get a decent set of snow tires, are these going to be okay in the winter? or should i stay away from that?
From what I've gathered in searching multiple sites, most people take theirs off. I have found people that keep them on and have good luck just by washing them regularly. I plan on keeping mine on all year long. I'll get a nice coat of wax on the painted part and just make sure I keep the wheels clean. I had a lifted Jeep Wrangler with ARE's on it and I cleaned them often. The wheels always looked new.
well, the real question is, where do you live? if you live somewhere that doesn't get a lot of snow, then who cares, but if you're in a snow state, then don't put them on.
i powder coated a set of g35 rims and put dunlop winter d3's on them for winter. i switch between those and my nismo rays for summer and winter. I also had to do this because of my maxima big brake upgrade, the steelies wouldnt have fit over the new rotors, so i got 18's all year round now. BTW, i have a set of g35's for sale if that interests you
