Bought some G35 chrome rims for cheap with Michelin Pilot Sports on them, definitely couldn't leave them chrome. SANDING IS AWFUL, that is all.
Sorry for the quality on some of them, my damn camera died right when I finished putting them on!! First few are cell, then some in the dark pics with my actual camera, so they're both equal quality just about haha. Anyway:

Thanks, they shouldn't have made a chrome coat with these wheels haha. They were a dealer wheel only I'm pretty sure, and the coating was shit. I had to sand off a ridiculous amount of pitting and they were from a 2006 with less than 20k miles on a WA car!! We don't even salt our damn roads!
Wheels look good.
Sounds like the work was worth it.

them wheels look like they belong on the alti . I actually m not a chrome fan . but the buick n G35s can actually make it work in some cases . However , i like ur hardwork n turnout with the prep n paint work . I just cant help but look at the Infiniti emblem n then at the alti body n chuckle . but it does look good , congrats .

the rims look good im just not a fan of gunmetal or black on smoke alti's. with the exception of motegi touge and 19" maxima nismos which seem to be a lighter grey
Wow, they were really awesome,
but according to me I think that, if you would have left them just chromed, it would have been too good, since your car is dark.
It would have given you a formal look, if they were just chromed.
its just my thought, may be everyone would like, even I like them so much!
Thanks guys, the 18's drove me nuts unfortunately and I got rid of them.. I probably could have done new tires instead but I just didn't have the money at the time, so I'm back to stock now. I'll probably acquire another set sometime soon and do powdercoating this time, the paint is a pain the ass..
