My B15 Work in Progress

This is going to be a a fairly condensed version of my progress ,. any questions i dont answer . feel free to ask me .. Most everything in and on my car i have done myself . For the proud feeling i got knowing i learned a little bit ...
I bought this car in August of 05 .. Was listed at $19,500 At nissan Dealership on Rt. 30 in York .. I was there looking at altimas because I absolutely adore The pain relief i get from lumbar support ... and a used alti was about 22k for the one i liked , I wanted it but my Folks were the ones signing and makin my payments on the new ride. So my budget was to around 15 - 20 k for a new car . MY mom Is nuts about having a warranty on a car , and No previous owners lmao ... she used to drive like a bat outta hell n went thru a few motors n now she thinks everything used is gonna be a lemon .. Anyway .. The Stealership had 1 " ONE Nissan Sentra SE-R on the Lot .. Now this was going to be my first New Car ,, I saw it after hearing the alti wasnt gonna happen . and The lady said first thing , we are have a 2000 dollar Sale ., blah blah .. So the price hit $17,500 , I was like hmmmm ???? Took it for a test drove , and I was all but sold . Called the Rents . Mom goes on line . Finds a $2500 off coupon for Nissan ... The price hit 15 k Brand new .. Mom came down right from work . saw the car helpd co sign . and u should have seen the look on the salesmans face when we told her about the coupon at the last second .. LMAO , She lookd liek she just lost a paycheck hahahhaha ... Priceless moment .. needless to say . I could care less . I drove the car home and enjoyed Beating it ever since . I only started doing mods this past Fall . Everything was stock until Sept of 07 .. but since then >>>>

My C A I i snagged for 50 $
Intake together -
The piping had gotten scratched pretty bad in places due to running it without a Support bracket for a wk or 2 . So i painted it up to give a needed boost lol .
Intake Sprayed - The

Next Got some HID 8500k Blu bulbs
Compared to stock
And both Hid headlights in w/stock fogs

Blacked out the headlights

Smoked the tails

And started Making a custom grill to show off the new headlights

Next I threw on my new Foglight Bulbs and Painted my Engine cover so it would match the intake piping .. Still Needs the lettering detaild n painted . along with the emblem which will be seeing a new chrome coating .. The old one was cracking n peelin off .. =x oogly if u ask me ...

And lastly , Just grabbed these yesterday mornin . My all but custom rims . Only a small small handful of these in the US have been made to order and put on Spec Vs .. - better pix when i wash em up a bit ...

But this is my Car so far . Lots more happening this month . Header will be next on my list ... hopefully this coming wk n it will be orderred n on its way ...

Welp . Got my battery done today , along with taking the Heat shield off my header .. I am gonna sand it down try to polish it up a bit b4 putting it in storage in case i sell the car someday " I hope I never Have to " But yeah .. Buyin a new header tomorrow and will be Wrapping a bunch of the wires n hoses to help clean up the old OEM wrappings ... Still working on The Engine cover emblem lmao .. been almost 2 wks of trial and error n waiting waiting waiting for paint coats to dry .. had to restart it 2 x now n each process takes me about 3 days around work n takin care of the household .. =x Its all black atm and i think its either gonna stay this way or maybe get the lettering in yellow . I just dont wanna hafta start over agn because of a stupid Smudge / fingermark / or paint run .. This thing has done it all to me lol . never b4 did i have a problem painting something the way i wanted it lol
Anyways heres some Engine bay shots .. Cant wait to have everything Covered n refurbished Gonna be Putting some Chrome Color in next ;) Shiny stuff FTW lmao ...

Nice work,you need a header to get rid of that stock manifold now.

You can also buy a Optima yellow top instead of painting the stock battery if your trying to
keep that yellow/black theme.

Thnx Guys . I orderred a New performance 4 1 header along With a jwt Balance shaft removal kit .. Will be doing both installs within the next 2 wks, , As for the optima Yello tops .. I lookd em up n they are like 180 $ new .. Soo No thnx there lmao .. Maybe when mine dies out . but its only on yrs 2 - 3 of its 7 yr warranty . Got my engine cover emblem painted too .. And looking to make my Strut tower bar a Shiny Black To match the intake piping ... and Got Black Brake caliper paint ... more pix soon .. Just wish I could afford nice Slotted rotors .. =x Sooo expensive

Ok and Here is the updated grill on n in place along with some Nice open hood shots too .. I had a small bit of acid blow off right after painting the battery .. So i just threw a sticker on there to help cover it .... I think the grill turned out real nice

I didnt get to take any Drive by videos since the header went in . but i did manage to snap a bunch of pix .. I wish i had taken more Pix b4 i drove around the block / along with putting my Engine cover on while the pipes were still polished . They turned a pure gold on me and Totally messed with my silver blak n yello theme lol .. Ohhh well ...

Thnx alot u 2 made my night ... just a little fyi My header is turning a nice purplish blue already . and i also Grabbed 3 header bolt Nuts to keep as spares . I am Wanting to get a 2nd 4 2 1 header to compare to the 4 1 style . and i happend to strip one of them , but @ 97 cents a piece i wasnt too upsett :p ...
Gonna try n muster up the balls to do my Balance shaft removal this wk end .. Not sure if i wil try if i cant get ahold of n etorx ... looks like they make the job alot easier ...

the car looks kick ass, I've always loved the yellow/black scheme. Kept to that on my dragster and bike too

One comment though.. if you're the age your posts suggest you are, dont drop your life savings on this car. Spend it on stuff that can improve your life and let you mod cars carefree in the long run.
