I thought I was going to care more than I ended up caring... Seriously. I remember being scared shitless when I first watched the video for Thriller and I remember really liking his moves... Then he became a freak and I lost all respect for him...

The guy had a big impact on music in the 80's but he was a serious nutjob that diddled little boys.

I seem to remember LA County Coroner's Office said he died of a heart attack (or something to do with the cardiac system) and it was of natural causes. If it was an OD they'd usually call it a death by misadventure (IIRC, I haven't seen anything about it).
If it was an OD, they'd be able to tell immediately because one of the first steps in an Autopsy is a mass-spectrometry analysis of the blood. Because of the nature of the death and who he was, I'd suspect that there would be a total-blood count, and that'll take 4-5 days to complete. I remember hearing the Coroner's office said they'd have the full work-up in 4-6 weeks... that's normal.
I like how suddenly Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton found their way into this whole situation....sneaky.
It was a given that they were going to show up, they always do.

I saw the Jackson family want a 2nd autopsy done. This can only mean they didnt like the results of the first one.
