I thought I was going to care more than I ended up caring... Seriously. I remember being scared shitless when I first watched the video for Thriller and I remember really liking his moves... Then he became a freak and I lost all respect for him...

So sad. What kid didn't want to be MJ in the 80's. He was larger than life. Too bad he went all goofy.

Not only that, but the only reason MJ bid on those songs was because McCartney told him how lucrative that was in the same conversation. It probably went like this:

PM: I'll bid on those songs to keep them form being licensed for commercial purposes.
MJ: Is there even money in it? What are the chances someone would even do such a thing?
PM: Are you serious? It's a very lucrative business. Millions and millions of dollars in licensing fees.
MJ: I bet I could outbid you...
PM: LOL... you joker, you...
MJ: LOL.... I love you, McCaulin Culkin...
PM: what?
MJ: Nothin'...

The guy had a big impact on music in the 80's but he was a serious nutjob that diddled little boys.

I was never a fan but I can't deny his mark in the music industry.

I seem to remember LA County Coroner's Office said he died of a heart attack (or something to do with the cardiac system) and it was of natural causes. If it was an OD they'd usually call it a death by misadventure (IIRC, I haven't seen anything about it).

If it was an OD, they'd be able to tell immediately because one of the first steps in an Autopsy is a mass-spectrometry analysis of the blood. Because of the nature of the death and who he was, I'd suspect that there would be a total-blood count, and that'll take 4-5 days to complete. I remember hearing the Coroner's office said they'd have the full work-up in 4-6 weeks... that's normal.

I saw the Jackson family want a 2nd autopsy done. This can only mean they didnt like the results of the first one.
