Don't blame them. But MS's solution if works, is best for consumers.
Wii with the new motion plus is almost $100/controller, 4 players = $400
Sony dildo is probably $50 + eyetoy, 4 players = $250
MS Natal - 1 camera, say $100, 4 players = $100.

That's correct. What blew me away by Sony's presentation was the technology itself and Sony was able to prove it can deliver with real-time footage. I don't know who good Natal will be since all we have so far are mockup videos. Also, try playing a long racing game with your hands stretched in front of you, the novelty can wear off very quickly.
Useless trivia: Natal means Christmas in Portuguese

There were real time tech demo footage for Natal as well in my 2nd post.

A wiimote is $40 and the motion+ is $25.
Since every Wii already has 1 wiimote, at most you only need 3 of those and 4 motion+. $220, not $400.
That said, I will buy one of any of those if/when they come out and there are good games that use them.
