I already have
- a 42" 1080p sharp and a 46" 1080p sony
- a Wii
- new tires for the car
- my laptop is still good
- I'm anti GPS
- I wasn't impressed at the Blackberry Storm

I can't think of anything I need or want to get.

Hell no, I would never go shopping on such a day. Especially having worked retail several times on Black Friday.

it depends on where you go. I usually go with the family.friends and we go to all the different stores. It's fun and we each run the risk of not getting anything worthwhile but if a few of us get a good deal, its usually worth it. I got a 22inch monitor for $160 last black friday and it still sells for $280 in stores today. I really want go get in on the deals at CC since they're closing.

I've got a better idea: Black Friday is going to turn into Black Every Day, at the going rate. I'd rather just wait it out, avoid the crowds.

BF is looking pretty pathetic this year. Other than a cordless drill for $25 at Wally world, nothing really made me even crack a smile.

I'm surprised at some of the deals on 46" and 50" Plasmas and LCDs. I wish I could justify replacing my 42" plasma. I have never and will never step foot in a retail store on such a day. Hopefully there will be a few good deals online. I'd like to get my shopping over and done with.

There's some decent BluRay deals at Best Buy that I might try to pick up if the place isn't too crowded.
