That sucks.




Last night, we had a blast setting all kinds of shit off. One of the boxes had a 200 shot count, and took about 5 mins to go off! Sweet stuff. We had one that was a 6 shot, but it was huge canisters, but the fukkers started to come out sideways instead of going up. It was scary shit and we were all ducking.

we did a bunch of single mortars and a few boxes this year. these people behind us (not sure why they thought it was a bright idea to set up behind everyone else), they had a 6 shot box with the huge canisters and it tipped over, the first 2 hit the boats in the harbor, the other 4 came at us, it was wild

i was watching news here in dc and they actuaally tried to do a laser show instead of fireworks at least i think it was dc but 4th of july isnt the same w/out fireworks even if u di get hurt hey u got a story to tell hahahaha

I used to love setting off fireworks as a kid but all the Commies out here in the county where I live have outlawed all fireworks.
There are huge areas out here in Calif where fireworks are illegal.

My neighbor does them every year -- not the mortar type, but still some big ones that are illegal in Virginia. He got busted this year, but the cops didn't ticket him or confiscate the illegal stuff -- they just told him to stop or they would come back and cite him. Last year, though, one of them fell over and shot right between everyone's feet and into his garage and under his Camry -- that was funny as hell but it could have been really bad, especially since it went off under the storage rack where he keeps the gas for his mower. :dazed052:

they're illegal here in MD, though luckily i live in the outskirts in a little redneck town, and we compete with the other folks around our part of the chesapeake with who has the biggest display each year, it's like a damn war zone on the 4th

we can buy here, but must sign a waiver that we are taking them out of state, and write where they are going....basically, to keep the shops from being liable

it's odd because the PA store we go to can't sell to PA residents but it's illegal to have them in MD, and it's on the MD line
