Go Satan! errr...Saban

Quick question for Sassan:

During pro games, with players doing their own introductions, why do OSU alumni always say, "THE" Ohio State Bungholes? What's with the 'The'?

That is the name of the school. THE Ohio State University.

They should go with TOSU.........

I've always wondered why some schools start with University at the beginning, and others put it at the end. For example University of Florida and Florida State University.

I get your UCF argument, but this NC game was at a minimum fun to watch. Btw, UCF will have few if any players drafted into the NFL, but Alabama and Georgia will have many......think about that.

And remember, The Ohio Fake lost to Iowa 55-24......Rivalry/conference games (i.e. Auburn against Bama/UGA) can be misleading..............

4 AP voters agree with me. Not saying we are right or wrong, but saying that others have the same logic i do.

AP:

1 Alabama (57) 13-1 1,521 4
2 Georgia 13-2 1,454 3
3 Oklahoma 12-2 1,374 2
4 Clemson 12-2 1,292 1
5 Ohio State 12-2 1,286 5
6 UCF (6) 13-0 1,248 10
7 Wisconsin 13-1 1,194 6
8 Penn State 11-2 1,120 9
9 TCU 11-3 974 13
10 Auburn 10-4 917 7
11 Notre Dame 10-3 857 14
12 USC 11-3 839 8
13 Miami (Fla.) 10-3 769 11
14 Oklahoma State 10-3 758 17
15 Michigan State 10-3 705 18

Ok, Bama wins the game, AP national champs blah blah.

How the FUCK is Auburn #10 with 4 losses?

I guess the voters based it on their quality losses? But yeah, 20th or so is where they should be ranked.

Goddamn Alabama making me eat my words. Ugh.

Hell of a game! Too bad I had to catch the highlights of the second half. Since I fell asleep at halftime. Fucking game ended at 1a over here. I have yet to see a NCG in it's entirety. Needs to be on Friday or Saturday night.

I knew some shit was going to go down. Bama always turns it around in the 2nd half and i've seen them come back twice this season being down. Saban knows how to make the right adjustments. Can't believe he put in a frosh to change the momentum of the game. hell of a move.

^ 12-0 against former assistant coaches is what stuck out in my mind, I can't imagine what their offense would look like with Tua as the QB and Hurts back there on occasion running a wildcat hybrid. Saban will win at least 1 more before he retires making him the greatest coach in college history.

Another stat about Saban, has won a title with every single recruiting class he's had since LSU in 1999 (minus the bullshit in Miami). Him and Belichick can both go to hell but damn if they don't deserve props.

Freakin Saban and Alabama.

I knew the bastard was a master of halftime adjustments, but pulling Hurts and playing a freshman is insane genius.

It was an incredibly entertaining game. And very disappointing in reflecting how far behind LSU is compared to Bama and UGA.
