Raiders’ move to Las Vegas approved | ProFootballTalk

If you're a season ticket holder in Oakland how quickly do you try to get a refund? If those fans have any pride that stadium should be empty for the next 2 years.

If they had any pride they would not be Raiders fans in the fist place.

As I said, this will be a GOOD 2-3 years. All we got is the approval to move - there's no stadium yet. Season ticket holders for THIS year, and AT LEAST next year, will be fine. In fact, prices already went up and they're bitching about THAT, lol.

Trust me, you all know damn well Raider Nation is the strongest fan base in the world - there will be NO shortage of fans willing to step up and take over for those dropping out. We NEED this stadium. Have you SEEN O.co?! It's fucking termites holding hands.

Not only do we need a bigger and nicer place to play, but the Super Bowl Committee won't touch us with a 3 foot pole right now. They told the Cards the SAME thing after SB 30, which is why THEY got a new place, and Sun Devil Stadium wasn't NEARLY as bad as ours.

These so-called fans need to stop being so damn childish. Oakland of today is NOT Oakland of 60 years ago. It's a fucking dump now, and the city/Mayor/state of CA doesn't give 2 shits to fix ANY of it. Fine, so we're taking our ball and goin' to Vegas - literally. Maybe you should have done more to keep us "home" if it was that important to you.

Steelers, Eagles and Buckeye fans are a better and bigger fan base and that is to name just a few off the top of my head.

Fist first is the same thing when taking about the Raiders.

I can see why you would think you have room to talk shit, since the Rams went 12-4 last year as well...oh no, wait, I have that backwards....

12-4 was US.

You guys sucked so you left CA, went to St Louis and STILL sucked, then you came BACK to LA and sucked even harder...lol come talk to me when you actually WIN something...or get a new stadium, either way.

We are getting a 2.9 billion dollar privately funded stadium. Your fan base can't even spell privately.

Oakland is a shithole. I don't blame them for moving. I blame them for the extra hotel taxes I will pay when I go to Vegas.

LOL you have to share it with the Dolts.

I don't blame them for wanting to move, either! I'm happy they're finally getting the stadium promised to us by Oakland in 1994...they have NO right to be pissed!

These so-called "fans" that are jumping ship and getting pissed are annoying the shit out of me. Why wouldn't you want what's best for your TEAM?!?!

Looking at it from the "Mom" perspective - that's like having your child go to the dirtiest, nastiest, poorest school in the ghetto because it's close to you and it's what you can afford, and having someone offer a full scholarship to an Ivy League school across town and you say 'no" because it's a little further away...

STU.

The Chargers are renting the stadium from us. Had the Chargers not moved then the Raiders would be renting it from us.

Don't worry about the fans jumping ship. Once they have that next hit of Crack ad heroine they will forget all about the Raiders moving.

LOL we would have NEVER rented from you - why do you think we're moving?!?! To get away from that!

I still can't believe the Chargers moved to LA...I don't get what the point of that was....? Their ENTIRE fan base is/was in SD, and now there's 2 teams in LA and NONE in SD! Lame.

The funniest part is that there are still more Raiders fans in LA than Rams/Chargers fans combined.

The entire deal was that whoever moved to LA after the Rams would have to share the stadium.

And the shit parts of LA are as bad as Oakland so of course the Raiders are popular.

^ That was his reason? I was wondering what crawled up his ass.

Also the next team to move will be Jacksonville to London, I bet that will happen within 5 years.

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo leaving football for broadcast career

Sounds like Jerry Jones didn't get shit offered in a trade so instead of releasing him Romo is just retiring? Sounds like Jerrah is as big a piece of shit as we've always thought, let him walk and go to Houston for fucks sake.

From what I've read Romo just decided to retire and take a big contract with CBS to replace Phil Simms (thank God). JJ had no role in this as he was going to release Romo and let him sign with another team.
