Default How happy are you with your Sentra so far?

For those with the new Sentra's, how happy is everyone with their car so far? Anything you wish different?

I for one, really love my Sentra. Was exactly what I was looking for. However, I do wish some of the plastics were slightly more tightly fit, more illumination on features at night (such as windows), a strip of tint on the top of the windshield, 4 wheel disc brakes standard on all models. Just to name a few.

i got my GF a 07 2.0, wish she would have waited for a better model... at least a s model, but we needed to get her out of the cavi before it was not worth trading in. I do like it alot, i hope she does too. I have not heard anything negative from her. The CVT is ok, not what I would want... but its just fine for her. I keep wanting to get stuff for her but she does not want anything.... all she wants is a ring.... the car will have to do for now. its spacious, clean, nice lines, and runs well. just wish it wasnt so tall and had larger rims (or smaller arches) and fogs.

Hahahahaha... I read the ring part and laughed, I'm in the same boat, lol.

I agree with what you said on the base model, I got the "S" though. Sometimes I wish I would have even gotten the SL, but I'm very happy with mine.

I got a lot of factory options though:
CVT
I-Key
16" polished allows (really like em actually)
Rockford Fosgate 6 CD system (sweet factory system imo)
floor mats, trunk divider, leather steering wheel, painted splash guards, ABS, steering wheel controls

Pretty much an SL minus leather seats and some other options

No fog lights either

Yep, I absolutely love my new Sentra. The dealer through in free window tint. Excellent four wheel disc brakes. Its fun to drive and I like the handling. No plans to modify anything. Just gas and go.

well i am glad you all got a laugh from my misfortune *insert sarcastic laughter here* naw there is just no way im doing it until i at least get out of school. I wanted to get her something a little better, but it was what they had at the time, and we seriously couldn't wait another week. I would still like to know what they had to do to fix up her old cavy.......[pondering]how do you get mold out of a car interior........[/pondering]:th_coolio:

I drive a 07 Spec V and am for the most part content with the car. A couple things are cheap looking such as the e brake, the chromed pedals and such. The seats are nice and comfy, it drives well and has good handling and traction. My second gear could use a lil something though, might just have something a lil off so i should prob bring to a dealer. Overall, i enjoy driving it very much.

I've got a 2007 2.0S 6spd with the convenience package and all that.
Three things that wish I would have had an option to get are the sunroof, the mp3 stereo and seat warmers.

So far it's pretty solid. The tires it came with are utter garbage though, it's a bit high, and I think the clutch isn't the greatest. Seems really hard to get into first smoothly, and it's not very forgiving anywhere else along the way at slower speeds either (it's great when you're going fast though). Then again, I could just be a rookie =]

Love my 2007 Spec. The only thing I would change would be the extra weight added on as part of the new chassis even though it still faster than the previous gens and can be fixed so to speak.

Other than that the car is remarkable and drives smooth and fast ;)

I love my 91 Sentra. It is my first car. Other than having to replace the fuel pumper it is very reliable. I am new here too by the way.

Lotta newer Sentra guys in here, but anyway I really do love my 99 SEL model,SR20 motor,manual,sunroof,4-wheel disc brakes, all power options.Bought it with 77k and now sits at 162K with no serious troubles 2.5 years later.

SR20 hi-revving power and one of the lightest 4 door Sentras you could get without sacrificing two doors,my only drawback is no leather.Anyhow, for a ten year old car it has held its own.Loved the motor so much I bought another SR20 powered car.
