Default How to blackout headlights? anyone know?

In lieu of buying the blackedout headlights, is there anyway that I can paint the inside trim of the headlight myself for the same effect? Does anyone have any experience in this area for a b15 sentra? I just don't want to try it and break my headlights beyond repair without being somewhat informed on what to do.

thanx in advance for any and all help.

alright, I'll do that. I'm going to try it within the next week or so. thanx for the help.

One question: will the stuff that is holding the lens on originally still have some sort of sticking power after pulling it apart or can I just get this stuff off and use an engine silicone adhesive to take it's place? what would be best?
