Default What Suspension Parts To Replace?

So I'm gettin ready to lower my 02 Max with Vogtland springs and Illuminas and I'm wondering what I'm gonna need to replace ie: mounts etc. This is my first time having suspension work done on any car so I'm a total newb. I'm only planing on using the front springs and keeping the rears OEM with new the new Illuminas. I have a buddy thats gonna do it for me but I want to have all the stuff I need before I bring it to him. Thanks in advance.

Why replace only the fronts? Springs don't just lower the car, they also support the weight, and having stiffer springs up front will throw off the balance of weight support. Sure, you'll still handle better than stock, but not up to your full potential.

If you're only doing springs/struts/strut mounts then you don't need to replace anything else specifically at that time, but of course you can look at other parts to replace such as sway bars and endlinks, before going further down the line to other chassis bracing like undercarriage braces, etc.

I have an 89 Nissan Maxima it is Black with a sunroof and spoiler with gray interior. The car has 230,000 miles and some change but still runs great. It does need work. I heard the brakes squeak last time I drove it. I live in an area where car theft and vandalism is a nightly thing and last week a remy martin bottle was thrown through the small window in the rear on the passenger side. It will now need a small window in the rear on the passenger side. The car also needs and alignment. A Brand new Right Axle was put on two weeks ago. The car by itself is $500 or Best Serious Offer. I also have Brand New in Boxes: Lower Control Arm, Thermostat, altenator, starter, and Rear Right Caliper to be sold separate or together with reasonable negotiations. The car is located in Landover, Maryland. I do not have pictures for it as I am typing this message so if you are interested in the car and are in my area please feel free to set up an appointment to come look at the car in person and test drive if need be. e-mail youngkapt@hotmail.com for more information.
