Default S13 240sx block in an altima

i just picked up a block from a guy (for 5 bucks) to build up and what not, and wondering, other then the front and rear motor mounts (left and right in 240) would a 5spd manual trans from a 1st ot 2nd gen altima fit the s13 KA24DE Block, if not then how about with a different bell housing?

Doubt they will work. The mount locations alone would be a big problem for an FWD, but besides that the different location of the distributor, wiring harness differences and Sassan's mentioned axle bracket situation, it's not do-able. But, I bet a metal scrapper/recycling center might take it off your hands for more than $5!

thats always the benifit, just go to the junkyard and ask if they could trade blocks, go in with the 240 block, come out with an altima block

i did some research, from what i read the altima head fits the 240 SX block, and Visa versa, tis true?
