hicas is a sort of "4 wheel steering" suspension. The wheel adjust 1 degree to help the handling of the car. I believe a lot of people hated this because it was problematic. Most people just welded the axel in place and called it a day. In the newer iterations, the creases were probably ironed out and people weren't bothered by it anymore. This is why drifting a 300ZX is retarded.

Spike you mentioned the 300ZXs...I remember reading somewhere that a company is making a replacment rearend for the Zs that had the rear steer option. It can probably be searched and found.

naw i didnt i think someone got it before me. i did find one right after a 95 for like 600 but it was far, so i couldnt have left work, but i called back to ask if it was auto or manula and she sold it. but im just gonna keep looking not really sure what i want(240, 4runner or a impreza).

i did figure out that the s15 i though were s15 are actually s14 kouiki which i was confused but know the difference now though.
