Default 03 Maxima Powerd SpecV

I finally got my baby . I can die a happy man now

thing has emange n full bolt ons with 3 " headerback magnaflow exhaust n so on .

dyno'd at 262 whp and 271 Wtq for the prev owner . and tracked at 13.4 and 107.8 Trap in the quarter . with a rated 12.6 had he ran slicks . He has since then advanced timing 8* and i will be shedding some additional weight Thru Cf parts n such
this is a copy past of what all the guy who did the swap put in , Minus the coilovers , i think he took them off

1) 03 Maxima Engine 41k
2) 03 Maxima Tranny with Spec-V LSD installed
3) Ebay OBX headers with 2.5 collectors
4) 3 inch from headers back
5) Magnaflow 3 inch cat
6) Magnaflow 3 inch mufler
7) Fidanza 12 pound Flywheel
8) Comp Stage 4 clutch
9) Solid front and rear motor mounts.
10) D2 36 way Coilovers!!! There awesome!
11) Falken Azena RT-615's 225-45-17'S VERY STICKY
12) Wiring harness done by Staytuner
13) 03 Maxima ECU
14) Walboro 255
15) Short ram intake
16) Koyo Rad
17) Mitshumoto twin 10 inch fans
19) Greddy Ultimate E-manage

I paid 8 g's for this car between cost , Taxes ,tag, inspection to get it on the road . Just to get the motor n trans swapped into my SE-R would have ran me 7k . so for 1 more grand i got a cool 2nd car with better factory front end And i think there is only about 12- 16 of these motor swaps done to date , ANYWHERE .
So less than 2 dozen people have this In the wizzorld
What u guys think ?

Well I cant answer that yet cuz i havnt pushed it hard into many turns Since i dont wanna Risk wrecking it . But torque steer is a bit of a bitch until i hit 4th n 5th i can tell u that much . MY front treads r low , been low since i got em , so i am debating if i wanna get DRs or if i wanna run some Wide a$$ all seasons so i can actually use this car when theres somewater drops outside

if i get the all seasons , i would wanna save up for a side set off steelies w/ some slicks for the track days.

someone wantd a vid , didnt take many yet , cuz i wanna get the body fixed up once work picks up again for me
but til then
heres the exhaust one i took the other day b4 it fully warmed up . if u got good speakers turn it up for the last 15 seconds , thats pretty much how she sounds . it was cold for the first half so i babyd it to warm up a little.

New to the site, fell on it while looking for polyurethane bushings... ? LOL
I went to the forums and saw this subject.... i had to register just to say that this is absolutely sick man.
Saw this once on youtube but completely forgot about this swap.
I have a 03 Maxima 6 speed and i find it a hell of a ride, but in a sentra ? muahahaha...sick
I can't imagine how nuts this must be. I will definetely post this on maxima.org forums if it hasent been already done.
Video show and tell anytime soon ? :P

Tails r on . but im not getting the brake light to work yet . ima try n change the fuse even tho it looks good . then ima check the Brake light switch under the pedal . i replaced the bulbs tonight . so if those 2 things done work . then im not sure what to try , but i need this workin to pass even a lenient inspection .

Eh the New rims werent as dark grey as i had hoped n the lip makes the spokes look short i think, but they look better than nothing. And the stockers that were on were curb rashed in some places n needed some TLC to look like new again . I already have like 3 people inquiring if im selling them , so i will probly make a buck there n put that towards a drop or else the New Radiator Support Bracket . The top was cut out of my current one b4 i got the car n its something i been meaning to replace , . then its gonna be time for a wire tuck n New Bolts n nuts under the hood and Some paint work n Sanding to get underneith the hood looking nice n fresh again

Got some new headlights in -

Painted my brake cals -

Strut bar is on and I got some pix of it, it barely, BARELY FIT . But it fit . I used some washers under it , and i wouldnt of been able to space it up any further if it needed it . so im hoping this clearance dont give me any issues I know my QR motor lifts a little when i hit the gas but thats on stock mounts , i think the VQs r solid mounts , not sure if they would keep it more still or not . Anyways

The spacers -

the clearance -

Yipes! Small price to pay though for the power you have at your disposal. I can't wait until I get the VQ into my 1st gen Altima. And as far as your mounts go, are they solid metal or solid polyurethane?
