Default shallow mount subs

im am getting a spoiler soon for my car and will most lickely remove my current brake light mounted by the rear window. i want to put some of those shallow mount subs in the back (2 10in)and take out the bose one. would that be possible to do...im sure it is but would it blow out my rear window and anyone know if they need a box or can they just sit the way the oem subs are. here is a link to the the subs to get the idea [Only Registered Users Can See LinksClick Here To Register] or would that be too much. anyone have experience with these shallow mount subbs??

that sub is not designed to be a free-air sub.

You would need a free air sub to mount in the rear deck. I wouldn't worry about blowing out any windows with one of them. If you want a shallow mount sub you can use a smaller truck box to save room in the trunk. We have the Kicker cvt10 for $97 shipped each.

If you have any questions or need anything else for your ride just let us know. We have access to over 1800 brands of aftermarket performance parts, styling, wheels/tires, audio/video, & accessories.

Thanks

you would have to have a serious comp sub to blow out the window, and will you be running 400 rms to it?
