Default Whining Noise

So I have this whining noise coming from my speakers when I accelerate, any ideas on how to get rid of it? I can only hear it at low volumes.

that's a new one jose, i can't imagine how the 2 are related, the accelerating and the speakers, unless there is some odd electrical issue going on there. maybe another issue with the d3?

The two 6 1/2's and the 6x9's are powered by an amp and I'm not sure how much power is running into them. I have to 12" Kicker CVR subs but thats not the problem because the noise was there before I put them in.

Sounds like a ground issue.
Somewhere either you are not grounded properly or one of your speaker/line inputs into your amps has managed to ground itself out.
Double check all of your speaker and line-in connections to your amp(s).
If everything is looks good try unplugging the line-in RCAs one at a time until it goes away. If it does then you will know which one is grounding out.
If it stays there then try disconnecting your speak outputs one at a time until you can isolate it.

I'll try that this week end and see what happens. I also get a lot of white noise.

It started doing it when the new speakers and amp were installed.

Not too long after I installed my system I had one of my RCAs start touching a metal bar behind the dash and that grounding out gave me a whirring or whining noise that changed pitch with engine RPM.
Since all of my RCAs had metal connectors I had to wrap all of them in electrical tape to make sure none of them would ground out and cause problems down the road.

You have a ground look issue. My Altima has the same problem. I re-ran my RCAs away from any power wire and moved the slack away from the power wire for my amp, that solved the problem. If all else fails, get some ground loop isolators and you should be set. Sound quality may go down very little but it is such a small difference that you will not even be able to tell. Old post but I did not see any posts that really solved your issue. That whine is your alternator as well.

What model amp are you running and how good of quality of RCAs do you have?

The RCA's are Scosche or how ever its spelled and it's a Rockford Fosgate amp. I haven't tried to fix it, all I do is turn up the music louder and it goes away. I can only hear it at lower volume levels.

Get some good Monster or Stinger RCAs. I had a real bad whine in my BMW and monster cables fixed that. I swear by Monster now and they are worth it if you are looking at getting zero noise.
