rewiring 3-wire alternator plug???

I want to replace my stock wiring with 0 gauge but the positive going to the alternator is loomed up with 2 other wires - any idea what the other two wires are?

Also there's no way I can run 0 gauge into the factory plug so what can I do to connect all 3 wires to the alt without the plug? I've never done the Big Three before so this is all new to me...
