WTB: 93-01 Nissan Altima

I've been looking for a new first or second gen. mileage isn't a concern if the body is okay. Needs to be a 5 speed. trim doesn't matter, as long as it's GXE, GLE, or SE. color also doesn't matter. if it's a first gen, the interior condition doesn't matter, as it will be swapped out, a second gen should be fairly clean. body can be dented or scratched, as long as it's repairable.. minor rust is okay. would like the car to be located in NY.

every one I find on craigslist is sold before I get to it. I actually bought one last week, but the guy sold it to another guy who showed up with cash in hand (mad gay and shady)..

want to spend the summer with my boys building our cars. everyones got something newer. I figure it's time to move up a little bit. but I have to build a ka24de first. I don't know why, just something I need to do. but I'm not going to invest anymore money into my automatic with no suspension left from being lowered 3 inches on stock struts.

plans are to swap my header, intake, ecu into new Altima, as well as a new clutch and short shifter. paint interior black. swap over seats. and a lot of DIY work.. I'm going to do everything to the car DIY. and then part out what's left of the yellow one when I'm done with it. the shell is amazing, minus being 3 colors, but I don't even want to deal with it, I'd rather start fresh. if I get a 2nd gen, well, just the engine and suspension parts will be transfered, and everything else will be sold.

I found a 95 manual for $1100 with a bad fuel pump yesterday. gonna check that out tonight. regardless, I decided that I'm going to get a new car within the next week, Altima or not, because my registration is up, and I want to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
