Default If you feel you have been scammed

What to do if you get scammed:

Please be careful of who you are dealing with and what you are doing.

I am going to make some suggestions to all. But understand, you guys are buying and selling at your own risks. It is a sad fact, but not everyone on the internet can be trusted!!! You all need to take steps to protect yourselves during the transactions!

1. Assume all the risks. You need to realize that you are taking a chance when dealing with someone on the internet. If you are not willing to take the chance, then don't do it!!

2. The number 1 suggestion is the use of COD. Anything over $100, I suggest paying the extra $10 for the peace of mind, knowing that the transaction will go much smoother. The other big suggestion is using a USPS money order, and mailing payment with return receipt. If you do get ripped off, its a matter of "FEDERAL FELONY MAIL FRAUD" and believe me, that will get some people's attention.

3. Use paypal if you need to make instant payment. However, be aware that you must file a complaint within 30 days of payment if a transaction falls through!!

4. If in doubt, I would also suggest that a person use EBay. Post the item on Ebay, have the seller buy the item on Ebay, and go from there. Ebay has many channels in which it attempts to help protect the buyer as well as the seller.

Again, you need to realize that you are taking a chance by purchasing anything from a private party online. I do not want to discourage anyone from using the Bazaar, because it is a great asset to supernissans.net. However, everyone needs to know what is involved.

Please enjoy the forums, but be careful with what you are doing!!
