Default What are you guys going to buy next?

What's going to be the next addition to your detailing arsenal?

For me it's going to be a Bissel LGM Wet/Dry Vaccuum to replace my Craftsmen W/D Vacuum that took a crap on me. It lasted a while though. I'll also be replacing my Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner with 303 Aerospace Cleaner and 303 Spot Remover. I wish I could afford an extractor. :(

I've got the Craftsman 3 horse W/D. Haven't used it yet though. No freaking point in the winter.

I've got the 4 gallon Ridgid/5HP wet/vac. Also bought the car accessory kit for it. Works awesome and uses the 1 7/8" accessories instead of the 2.5" standard kits. Also, has a lifetime warranty. I believe it was $100??

No idea what my next addition is, I'm pretty well settled with equipment, so it'll probably more supplies/products (I certainly don't need any though).

Leathe... have you tried Folex?? It's not so much a detailing specific product, but it's a stain remover and works AWESOME for myself and others. I've never used 303 spot remover, but from others testimony they go hand in hand with each other. And with a considerable price difference (folex being cheaper by far) I like folex.

What Meg's APC do you have and why are you changing?? I use Meg's APC+, which doesn't foam as much as APC does. I also cut it 10:1 when general cleaning and 4:1 on really tough areas. I generally only use APC on the interior. Furthermore only on carpets and vinyl. Never on leather.

I want to try a few of the Surf City garage products, Adam's products, Liquid souveran, sig series II, wolfgang deep gloss sealant, etc. etc. I have a heavy arsenal already for every area imaginable.

I am looking into getting a UDM (Ultimate detailing Machine.) However, I already have the PC 7424 and Metabo Rotary buffer.

I actually had no problems with the Meguiar's APC.

This is the one I've been using. It's a great product. I just want to try 303 to see if it'll get me even better results. I don't ever touch the leather with this stuff. Even though they say it's safe, I'd rather use a leather specific cleaner/conditioner since you wont risk drying out the leather.

I have never tried Folex but I will definitely check it out.
