then apply my tire dressing. One of my favorites believe it or not is Armor All Extreme Tire GEL. Gels have great shine and more importantly durability. The foam that was just wiped off acts as a GREAT base for this gel. Also improves looks and durability:

Check for Water Runnings:
Make sure to go over the car again and again. You will certainly find some areas where the water has ran down. Examples: trunk, door jams, license plates, etc.
Before: (around door handle)
I like to use a product called Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. It's a great waterless wipe product. Really cleans up areas very well. I also use this for light dusts, fingerprints, etc.
After:
Checking for Water Spots:
Go around the vehicle to check for water spots. They'll usually form easier on glass, but of course check the paint as well.
To remove water spots, take a mixture of 50/50 water/vinegar. Spray this mix on the water spotted area and wipe off with a microfiber towel:
Taillight & Headlight Cleaning:
I LOVE to use a product called, DP Plex-All. It's an awesome plastic cleaner and protectant. It applies like foam and then buff off with a microfiber towel:
Black Plastic Trim:
I enjoy using a product called 303 protectant. It is one of the (if not the) highest rated UV protectants there is out there in the detailing world. I use this regularly.
