Opinions on wiring a DVC sub
Here's the deal. I have a Cerwin Vega HED 10.4 dual voice coil sub, Right now it's wired in series, which is at 8ohms, since my amp cannot maintain at 2ohms while bridged.
Is it possible to wire each coil to different channels on a 2 channel amp? The current amp is capable of putting out enough power and would be stable at 4 ohms. If not, I have tracked down a mono amp stable to 2ohms but I'd rather not spend the coin.
