Here it is the 4th gens official intake thread

To clarify: The fourth generation Altima currently is only able to house a Short Ram Intake (SRI) also known as a Warm Air Intake (WAI)
Reason why a Cold Air Intake (CAI) is not produced for the fourth generation Altimas, is because there is no room for a CAI to fit.

There are currently 3 different distributors as of now that are producing SRI's for our Fourth Gens

Now....the difference between the four
1) Price obviously
2)Vendor obviously


Injen and Fujita are both well recognized in their air intake systems
The guy who owns the fujita came from injen so both intake systems are relatively similar

The difference in price between the injen and fujita comes with the aluminum heat shield
Injen has a little heat shield that is said to prevent too much hot air going into the intake.

there is a link with a pic of the injen, the aluminum sheet is the heat shield

Fujita does not have the heat shield and therefore costs a lot less money.

Uh, wow Jose, I'm not sure I want to even bother with the Fujita for fear of it cracking on me, but at least they're being cool about the warranty.

It's the little brace that holds it up that keeps braking.

A couple others had cracked intakes. But the one for the 2.5 is just fine, i prefer the fujita over the injen. My injen is just sitting in my closet.
