story of the day

i was at a stop light, there is a half mile 2 lane strip in front of me that is flat and after about 1/2 mile it goes up hill to a bridge. for safety purposes before someone scolds me, traffic is only one way, the other side of the road is more than 100 feet way, so 2 isolated lanes

a 350Z (auto) pulls up behind me after swerving through traffic at the light to get behind me. light turns green so i do a 0-60 run and he sees me leave the line quick so he gets into the right lane, by now i have a few car lengths (it's unfair, when you are behind someone you can;t get as good of a start if you aren't expecting them to go, which i understand). So i let off at 60 to let him catch up, i look and apparently he wanted to play along, so as soon as i let off i see him coming and he is about to do a ricer fly by, as soon as he got to my rear bumper on the right i hit it (the cvt was already in the range where it was ready to go. i hear his engine rev up right when i do.

So the fun part is we went to ~100mph and i took him on the roll by maybe a car length, when he rolled by when we were slowing down he glanced up and down at the car and gave me a thumbs up.

basically i just wanted to let the Z guys know they aren't that much faster, especially had to let this traffic swerver know on an open road

very nice, I myself havent found spot yet where when you press down, it just takes off. Sometimes it goes, sometimes it laggs, dunno if having a 2.5 has anything to do with it.

When it does take off tho it's prEtty darn quick IMO

The sales man drove me around in a 2.5 to go to the lot where they kept all the cars and It felt so weird to me and that's that I had only driven the 3.5 once before.

Have you guys ever noticed that when you brake real hard to come to a sudden stop and then after that when you try to accelerate the car doesn't respond and it takes it a few seconds to kick in

When I first got the car that would freak me out and would always ask my passengers if they could feel and they would all say I'm crazy.
