Default Auto Headlights are too sensitive. Can it be adjusted?

Does anyone know if the sensitivity can be changed on our Auto headlight setting? The problem is....everyday when pulling into the garage at my house, the headlights come on...even when its daylight outside.

Nice mods, the best color, Pearl White, as for the Auto Headlights, i really doubt there is much you can do, without having to change the actual sensor itself, about 90% of all cars do this, even under a tree my Altima light will turn on. Just have to get use to it. For a future look, Nissan has developed new Autoheadlights, called Intelligent Auto-Headlights, that are actually more sensitive, they even switch on during rain storms, but the good thing is they can tell between tree shade, garages, and short tunnels, and wont turn on.

my bonneville lights turned on when the windshield wipers were turned on....i feel like that should be pretty standard since a bunch of states require by law that you do so.

As far as the sensitivity, i'm not sure any of the nissans have a manual adjustment, only car i had with the manual adjustment was my cadillac, and it didn't work very well

If I remember correctly there are three different levels of sensitivity for the headlight activation threshold as well as the time delay it takes to actualy turn the headlights on once that threshold is reached. I always wanted to stretch the activation time so they wouldn't come on going under a freeway overcrossing or other short bridge.
There is also an adjustment as to how long the lights stay on after the car is shut off.
Both adjustments must be done with a Consult II unit.

If you are nice enough to a Nissan mechanic they may do it for free.

There is indeed a programming option to make them come on sooner or later. I believe it is done through the machine, however so you'll need to get it done at a dealer.
