Default front bumper removal (2000)

ok so after reading how to bake my headlights apart, im going to jump into this tommorrow, ive never taken a front bumper off....anyone kinda tell me how? im going to paint the headlights black and remove the amber marker's....
ill post pic's when its all done..

why do you have to remove your front bumper to remove the headlights?

you dont have to take the bumper off to remove the headlights??
how do you remove them then...the 3 or so screw's at the top?

You don't need to take off the bumper, and even if you did want to take of the bumper, it's not too complicated. There are four screws holding the headlight in (at least on the '98-'99) and the headlight should come right out. There were 2 screws behind the headlight that you had to remove to get it out, and that may be the case with the '00-'01 too.
